his week @shaka gives us a beautiful photograph of a body of water. The photograph provokes one to approach the shore and contemplate the transparency of the water.

We all have a fascination for water.

Maybe that's what Narcissus did when he reached it again and again, until his destiny was fulfilled.

Esta semana @shaka nos una preciosa fotografía de un cuerpo de agua. La fotografía provoca acercarse a esa orilla y quedarse contemplando la transparencia de las aguas.

Todos tenemos una fascinación por el agua.

Tal vez eso era lo que hacía Narciso cuando llegaba una y otra vez hasta ella, hasta que se cumplió su destino.

My collage this week is about daffodils, about the beautiful flower that became the unfortunate beautiful being, the original Narcissus, who could not love anyone and whom the nymph Echo loved so much that she died of love in a cave, and of whom only her voice was left wandering around the world, before the indifference of her beloved.

Mi collage de esta semana trata de los narcisos, de la bella flor en la que se convirtió el infortunado bello ser, el Narciso original, que no pudo amar a nadie y a quien la ninfa Eco amo de tal manera que murió de amor en una cueva, y de la que solo quedo su voz vagando por el mundo, ante la indiferencia de su amado.
