Wow, what a great photo! That's exactly what I thought when I saw Shaka's template photo for LMAC Round 82. Barely a moment later I imagined the most epic scene on it that would have made even the great master painters of the old times rotate in their coffins in envy. Well, it turned out differently. But I nevertheless had a lot of fun.
Hui, was für ein geiles Foto! Genau das dachte ich, als ich Shakas Vorlagen-Foto für die LMAC Runde 82 sah. Keinen Augenblick später, stellte ich mir auch schon die epischste Szene darauf vor, wegen welcher sogar die großen Meister-Maler alter Zeiten in ihren Särgen vor Neid rotiert hätten. Naja, es kam dann anders. Aber ich hatte trotzdem eine Menge Spaß.
As always a little story first...
Once upon a time there was a poor fisherman's family.
They were so poor that the father of the family had to go out to sea every day for fishing. But one day, when the sea was particularly rough, the boat wrecked on a rock.
This was a terrible misfortune for the family, because they did not have the money for a new boat and so they could not catch any more fish to sell them on the market. The fisherman was deeply saddened by this and was very afraid that his family would now have to starve.
The fisherman's wife still had a few loaves of freshly baked bread that she also wanted to sell at the market. "I'll quickly bake a few more. Maybe the profits will at least be enough to repair the boat," she said.
"But first I have to go to the village, get more flour." she added and left.
The daughter of the fishermen's family was also thinking about how she could help her family.
Then she remembered the seagulls, which she fed every evening with crumbs of mother's bread. They liked it so much that they sometimes dropped their freshly caught fish just to get a few crumbs.
The mother had not gone far and the father was still looking sad sitting at the kitchen table, when the daughter ran into the house in a hurry to get a few whole loaves of bread. Quickly she tore the bread into little pieces and ran with it to the cliff in front of the house.
As soon as she put a handful of it in the air, the seagulls came flying from every direction. Each one wanted a piece.
Alarmed by the gulls' cries, the father ran outside. When he saw what the daughter was doing, he was furious. "How can you give away our bread to the rats of the air! Stop that right now!"
The mother's attention was also drawn by the father's shouting. Frozen with fright, she watched from afar as the daughter gave away the good bread to the seagulls.
But the fisherman's daughter, attracted more and more seagulls.
Suddenly fish fell from the sky, first at the feet of the mother, then also at the feet of the father. First one fish, then another, two more, soon the whole ground around the house was covered with fresh fish. Even the father had never caught so many fish.
And if they did not die, they are still alive today, giving and taking what is given to them.
Wie immer zuerst eine kleine Mär...
Es war einmal eine arme Fischersfamilie.
Sie waren so arm, dass der Familienvater jeden Tag zur See hinaus fahren musste um zu fischen. Doch eines Tages, als die See besonders Rau war, zerschellte das Boot an einem Felsen.
Das war ein furchtbares Unglück für die Familie, denn das Geld für ein neues Boot hatten sie nicht und so konnten sie daher fortan keine Fische mehr fangen um sie auf dem Markt zu verkaufen. Der Fischer war darüber zutiefst betrübt und hatte große Angst, dass seine Familie nun hungern müsse.
Die Fischersfrau hatte noch ein paar Laibe frisch gebackener Brote, die sie ebenfalls auf dem Markt verkaufen wollte. "Ich backe schnell noch ein paar mehr. Vielleicht reicht der Erlös dann wenigstens für die Reparatur des Bootes", sagte sie.
"Zuerst muss ich aber noch ins Dorf gehen, mehr Mehl holen", fügte sie hinzu und ging los.
Die Tochter der Fischersfamlie machte sich auch darüber Gedanken, wie sie der Familie helfen konnte.
Da erinnerte Sie sich an die Möwen, die sie jeden Abend mit Krümeln von Mutters Brot fütterte. Denen schmeckte es so gut, dass sie manchmal vor lauter Gier sogar ihre frisch gefangenen Fische fallen ließen, nur um ein paar Krummen abzubekommen.
Die Mutter war noch nicht weit gekommen und der Vater saß noch betrübt am Küchentisch, als die Tochter in Windeseile ins Haus rannte um ein paar ganze Laibe Brot zu holen. Schnell zerrupfte sie die Brote in keine Stücke und rannte damit auf die Klippe vor dem Haus.
Sobald sie eine Hand voll davon in die Luft streckte, kamen die Möwen auch schon aus jeder Richtung angeflogen. Jede wollte ein Stück davon abhaben.
Vom Geschrei der Möwen aufgeschreckt, rannte der Vater nach draußen. Als er sah, was die Tochter machte, war er außer sich vor Wut. "Wie kannst du nur unser Brot an die Ratten der Lüfte verschenken?! Hör sofort damit auf."
Auch die Mutter wurde durch das Geschrei des Vaters darauf aufmerksam. Vor Schreck erstarrt schaute sie von weitem zu, wie die Tochter das gute Brot an die Möwen verschenkte.
Die Fischerstochter aber, lockte immer mehr Möwen an.
Plötzlich fielen Fische vom Himmel, erst vor die Füße der Mutter, dann auch vor die Füße des Vaters. Erst ein Fisch, dann ein weiterer, zwei dazu, bis bald der ganze Boden rund um das Haus mit frischem Fisch bedeckt war. So viele Fische hatte selbst der Vater noch nie gefangen.
Und wenn sie nicht gestorben sind, dann leben sie noch heute, geben und nehmen was ihnen gegeben wird.

Schau einfach mal rein. Auch wenn du denkst, du seist kein Künstler, wird dir LMAC eventuell das Gegenteil beweisen.

Materials −≡− Materialien
My collage contains parts of multiple images. I took a few of them from Pixabay. The images there are free to use.
But the most was modelled by-myself in Blender.
To do this, I first prepared the base of the collage in GIMP and then I used it in Blender as a background image. In the foreground of this background image, I have then modeled the scene in 3D over a self-defined shadow catcher (invisible surface on which only shadows are visible).
Smaller details and the finish I have then finally made in GIMP.
Meine Collage enthält Teile von einigen Bildern. Ich habe ein paar dieser Bilder von Pixabay. Alle Bilder dort sind frei nutzbar.
Der größere Anteil ist komplett von mir selbst in Blender modelliert.
Dazu habe ich die Basis der Collage zuerst in GIMP vorbereitet um es dann in Blender als Hintergrund-Bild zu verwenden. Vor der Collage als Hintergrund-Bild, habe ich dann die Szene in 3D modelliert und einen selbst-definierten Schattenfänger (unsichtbare Fläche, die nur Schatten sichtbar sind) untergelegt.
Kleinere Details und das Finish habe ich dann wieder in GIMP gemacht.

I love the 3d rendering from blender. It has the appearance of lost in space and time. Suspended in another dimension.
The story stands alone. And then there is the collage.
Nothing more to say 🌟🌟🌟
And if they did not die, they are still alive today, giving and taking what is given to them.
Thats such a nice story to go with the art collage.
