LMAC Post office | LMAC Postamt - LMAC Support collage [EN / DE]

Hello Hivians, Hallo Hivianer,

While @shaka is heroically roaming the world for a few days, hunting for new template photos for LMAC, panic almost broke out in the community. Even our Discord server groaned under the load of the panicked and chaotic crowd. But then suddenly @brittandjosie came around the corner, grabbed a megaphone and offered the raging crowd a way out.
Needless to say, this resonated well with me. After one year of membership in this club of the creatives, I hate to miss a whole week of making LMAC collages.

But since this week everything is different, and also the template of my collage once stuck in my screw vise, I have this time unfortunately only a tiny story to the collage for you.

A little story about the collage ...

Once upon a time, ... No, there still is, a small post office. It is LMAC's main post office and it stands on a mountain called Bee Hill. There, countless works of LMACians from all over the world arrive daily, then will be duplicated and sent to all LMACians worldwide.
All the work has to be done by one man alone. It is the dwarf Cloo Toogeda, who used to work at Gangstagram, suffered from boreout syndrome and therefore had to stop working there.
However, he has been working at LMAC Main Post Office since 2018 now and says about his job, "It's the best thing that could have happened to me. Since I've been working for LMAC, my soul is fine again. There are so many creative impressions here that I even dream about it at night. Just FANTASTIC!"

Während @shaka ein paar Tage heldenmutig durch die Welt streift, und sich mit der Jagd nach neuen Template-Fotos für LMAC beschäftigt, wäre in der Community beinahe Panik ausgebrochen. Sogar der Discord-Server ächzte unter der Last des panisch-chaotischen Gewimmels. Doch dann kam plötzlich @brittandjosie um die Ecke, nahm ein Megaphone in die Hand und bot der tobenden Menge einen Ausweg an.
Das kam natürlich auch bei mir gut an. Nach einem Jahr Mitgliedschaft in diesem Club der Kreativen, verpasse ich es ungern eine ganze Woche lang, LMAC-Collagen zu basteln.

Da aber in dieser Woche alles anders ist, und auch das Template meiner Collage schon einmal bei mir im Schraubstock klemmte, habe ich dieses Mal leider nur eine kleine Geschichte zur Collage für euch.

Eine kleine Geschichte zur Collage...

Es war einmal, ... Nein, es ist noch immer, ein kleines Postamt. Es ist LMACs Hauptpostamt und steht auf einem Berg namens Bienenberg. Dort kommen täglich unzählige Werke von LMACianern aus aller Welt an, werden vervielfältigt und an alle LMACianer weltweit weitergesendet.
Die ganze Arbeit muss ein Mann alleine machen. Es ist der Zwerg Cloo Toogeda, welcher früher bei Gangstagram arbeitete und dort an schwerem Boreout erkrankte und deshalb aufhören musste, dort zu arbeiten.
Seit nunmehr 2018 arbeitet er jedoch im LMAC Hauptpostamt und sagt selbst über seine Arbeitsstelle: "Es ist das Beste, was mir passieren konnte. Seit ich für LMAC arbeite, ist meine Seele wieder in Ordnung. Es gibt hier so viele kreative Eindrücke, dass ich des Nachts sogar davon träume. Einfach FANTASTISCH!"

Technical details

"LMAC Post office" is not really a classic photo collage. Because I not only used parts of different photos, but created a large part of material I used by myself using 3D modeling in Blender.
Furthermore I took 2 images from Pixabay, the trolley with the packages and the mailbox.
The two background images were template photos from past LMAC contests. (LMAC #47, LMAC #49)

First, I cut out the cliff in GIMP and saved it to disk as an image file. Then I used the image under Blender as a background image so I could create a shadow plane (Shadow catcher in Blender) in the shape of the cliff.
I then modeled the mushroom house and the other details on top of it. After that I rendered everything on a transparent background into an image file, which I then combined with the cliff and the LMAC photos in GIMP.

Technische Details

"LMAC Post office" ist keine ganz klassische Bild-Collage. Denn ich verwendete nicht nur Teile Fremder Bilder, sondern erschuf einen großen Teil davon selbst mittels 3D Modelling in Blender.
Ansonsten nahm ich mir 2 Bilder von Pixabay, die Karre mit den Paketen und den Briefkasten.
Die beiden Hintergrundbilder waren Template-Fotos vergangener LMAC-Contests. (LMAC #47, LMAC #49)

Zuerst habe ich in GIMP die Klippe ausgeschnitten und auf der Festplatte als Bilddatei gespeichert. Anschließend nutzte ich das Bild unter Blender als Hintergrund-Bild, damit ich eine Schatten-Plane (Shadow catcher in Blender) in Form der Klippe erstellen konnte.
Darauf modellierte ich dann das Pilzhaus und die anderen Details. Danach renderte ich alles auf transparentem Hintergrund in eine Bild-Datei, welche ich dann in GIMP mit der Klippe und den LMAC Fotos kombinierte.
