It’s late afternoon and the farmer comes out to the barnyard to give his new dog some herding commands, such as, left, right, walk up and lie down.
He found out quickly the command, “Go fetch the cows!” was not understood by the dog.
Everything seems idyllic in this beautiful countryside but the farm is a few miles outside an airport and right in the middle of the airplane route.
The roar of the engines drowns out the farmer’s voice just as he gives the training commands to the dog.
”Heel Boy,”the farmer calls out. He decides a walk would be the best for them both right now.
Can he ever train the dog to herd the cows?

There's a lot going on on the farm, and the noise must be horrendous. I would suggest the farmer to use walkie talkies with headsets. I think, the dog will hear him much better with headphones on 😉

The dog pictured is a labrador retriever, a breed best known for flushing prey (birds) and bringing it back to their owners. They are laid back and low aggressive. Anything is possible though since dogs want to please and labs are highly intelligent.

Thanks so much Dee. i think the dog can be trained but it would be slow going. :) Dad had a collie dog when I was growing up and he just had to tell the dog to bring in the cows and the dog knew what he meant. It helped being the same time every day ~animals like and understand routine.💞🐕

Hermoso ambiente campestre donde hay vacas y caballos y un perro que cuida la hacienda o fundo o como lo quieran llamar, esta imagen me recuerda a mi abuelo y a mi tío cuando tenían el fundo o la hacienda llena de ganado y tenían varios perros que cuidaban del ganado cuando los sacaban del tranquero para comer saludos y suerte en el concurso.
