I loved this week’s kitty image—a beautiful white cat would be the star, and I couldn’t be happier. So I made him a king, a cat king! That was the main idea behind my collage, to which I kept adding elements in the composition, aiming for a result that was not only beautiful but also eye-catching at first glance.
Me encantó la imagen del gatito de esta semana, un bello gatito blanco sería el protagonista y no podía estar más feliz, así que lo convertí en rey, ¡un rey gato! Esa era la idea principal tras mi collage, al que le fui agregando elementos en la composición en busca de un resultado no solo bonito sino que llamara la atención a primera vista.
I made extensive use of layer blending modes in Photoshop to achieve different tones and color variations that enriched the visual language. I also worked with brushes and typographic elements.
Utilicé mucho el juego con los modos de fusión de capa en Photoshop para obtener distintos tonos y variaciones de colores que enriquecieran el lenguaje visual. Además, trabajé con pinceles y elementos tipográficos.

Once everything was ready, I used a gradient map not only to unify the image and create cohesion, but also to achieve a print-like effect—almost like cyanotype, but in purple tones. I really liked the final result, and as always, I’m sharing an animation of the entire process in GIF format, where you can better appreciate the workflow.
Cuando todo estuvo listo, usé un mapa de degradados no solo para unificar la imagen y crear cohesión, sino para buscar un efecto de imprenta, casi cianotipo, pero con colores morados. El resultado final me gustó mucho, y como siempre, les dejo una animación de todo el proceso en formato GIF, donde se aprecia mejor el flujo de trabajo.
