Same but different #5 ‒ recap

Welcome to this Sunday review of the #samebutdifferent challenge. This week's theme was Bread and baked goods.

Initially, I thought this was a topic everyone could relate to. Bread and baked goods are staple foods almost everywhere in the world. Or are they not?

Still, I understand that the #samebutdifferent challenge is still young and finding its way. If you're reading this article, check out the previous rounds in the last paragraph, and if you have something to contribute to any of the themes, don't hesitate to write. We're not a competition, we're a challenge. All previous topics remain open to everyone.

But let's return to the current round. This week's theme was "Bread and Baked Goods," and we have two articles:

  • @hairyfairy took us to a small artisan bakery in Brno and mentioned craft bread and his favorite rolls

  • @pavelsku, on the other hand, showcased the extensive selection of a typical supermarket, which is incomparable to what was available just a few decades ago

Do you enjoy the #samebutdifferent challenge and have something that could contribute to the current theme or even past topics?

#1 - Milk and dairy product sales
#2 - Mailboxes
#3 - Bus stops
#4 - Public lighting
#5 - Bread and baked goods

The current running theme is:

#6 – School classes

... and the theme for next week (starting October 13, 2025) will be announced tomorrow. Keep an eye on the hashtags #samebutdifferent or #sbd.
Of course, you can still contribute to past rounds of this challenge.

Thanks to everyone participating in our challenges! And also thanks to those who try to spread awareness about this challenge in their social circles and communities.
