Happy Birthday to the Hive Community

in #hive4 years ago

Maybe some will say that the existence of the Hive blockchain has not yet reached a full week. But it would be unfair to deny our past and forget our history.

Four years ago, Steemit inc. launched a revolutionary new blockchain combining technical, financial and social aspects. And for almost four years, many enthusiasts have joined the adventure: developers, bloggers, investors ... people from all walks of life.

Some have joined us recently but others have been there from the start, and they are still there.

SteemitBoard missing

SteemitBoard used to remind people when it was their Steem birthday. Unfortunately, it was shut down a few days before the hardfork and the community move to Hive.

Many of you have contacted us to find out if there will be some kind of HiveBoard. We can reassure you and tell you that there are things in the works. But it is a serious job to migrate the work of several years. We also wanted once and for all to get rid of the "steemit" prefix, this is even more work.

So, a little more patience.

Happy Birthday

Despite the recent events, we would find it sad not to celebrate the birthday of all the early adopters and pioneers who are always with us and who allow us to benefit from their experience.

Moreover, everything was already ready before the hardfork to celebrate this event with joy.
Therefore, to distribute the brand new birthday badge.

If you registered your account on the Steem Hive blockchain 4 years ago, you will automatically get this badge on your board. Of course, you can reuse it in your post to show your fellow Steemians you’re kind of a Steem Hive Veteran.

For those who joined us recently, you will have to be a bit patient. But do not worry, on the first, second or third anniversary of your registration, you will also receive a nice award.

SteemitBoard website has moved to Hive

As mentioned above, we are currently working on migrating SteemitBoard. Meanwhile, SteemitBoard web site, even its name sounds related to Steem, has been updated and now displays information that is based on data from the HIVE blockchain.

Till something new ...

We wish you a Happy Hive Birthday!
