The closest thing that crypto has to a fiat system is something like Coinbase which can decide not to pull the trigger on suspicious transactions like it did now with the Twitter scams.
Though I'd say that this is detrimental overall to the crypto world and we shouldn't try to be more like fiat and instead focus on keeping crypto decentralised and private, while focising oir research on hownto increase security and hownto make thensystem resilient to such scams.

Exactly, cryptocurrencies are trying to be more like fiat in an attempt to gain mainstream adoption, but that is a deviation from the initial goal.
