RE: How Big Will Be The Dump!

in Project HOPE4 years ago (edited)

Resistance levels are building at 80c (lower) and $1.00 (higher).
The question is who is selling into a dump (not Hive community members).

Who is buying Hive with their powering down Steem (Hive community members).

Remember, there is no forced seller in Stinc anymore.

Its all about supply and demand.
Maybe Hive has finally got the attention it deserved and people are discovering how amazing and unique it is in the crypto world. The only fully decentralised DApp capable blockchain with a real active community.

Sort:

Yes, there is no forced seller. But there are proposals that are getting paid from the SPS in HBD.

Yes, but:

  1. the amounts are quite small compared to what Stinc was programatically selling;
  2. Its HBD, not Hive so selling it directly impacts only the HBD price (which is supposed to be stable around $1)
  3. There are many people receiving HBD from the SPS, each with their own strategy for holding or selling - its not a constant downward pressure on the price as Stinc's programatic selling was.

Maybe Hive has finally got the attention it deserved and people are discovering how amazing and unique it is in the crypto world. The only fully decentralised DApp capable blockchain with a real active community.

I hope so.
That will be the best thing to have happened to Hive ever.
