It is very likely to find a CEO who establishes a business and maybe because of time or any other factor does not spend time with the business so he employs someone whom he considers as being competent or capable enough to help with the running of the business affairs, but only little out of businesses like this end up well, a lot of these related business fold up eventually as a result of bad management. At the early stage of a business it is important for a business owner to handle the affairs of the business understanding its method of operation and the things the business might need so if the business will be handed over to a manager after some time, the CEO will be able to figure out if there is something wrong.

Nothing kills a business as fast as improper management even debts and scarce resources will not kill a business as fast as debt would do, it is killing to have a management team that is not in any way concerned about the growth of the business. Integrity is the very first thing to look out for when it comes to management skill, the absence of integrity results in a very bad management option and it also affects the business negatively.

Some managers handle the company in a manner that portrays them as simply fulfilling obligations while some managers handle the company in a way that describes them being completely concerned about the company. The actions of these managers can be clearly seen in the manner of approach of urgent issues related to the company and the way business affairs in general is handled with care.

Management team of a company could just manipulate the increase in the size of the company while presenting a report so they can have the leverage to pay themselves the more, this is a serious absence of integrity that managers portray and the CEO of the company needs to look out for the sign quickly and do something about the branch. There are situations when a manager makes use of ambiguous words to describe a monthly or yearly report and this can only mean two things, it is either the manager does not have a good idea on what he is doing or he is intentionally making use of ambiguous words to just confuse the CEO.
