I have ten meetings this morning, can you reduce those meetings to eight today and I will look the rest tomorrow, can I just have thirty minutes for launch before the next meeting, does this words describe you in any way or do you constantly have endless meetings that cannot be avoided? While reading, I found out some ways to help those who always have meeting’s to attend, these guide I found out will help those who always have meetings get a certain level of productivity from their activity.
We know that meetings cannot be avoided in a business environment, information’s needs to be disseminated, rules have to be reviewed, new business partners need to be meet, this means a business environment cannot survive without meetings, but there are certain guide that will help you achieve productivity in each of these meetings:
Everyone that exist in the business cycle has an access to an email address of their own, if there is any information to be shared, instead of calling everyone to have a round table meeting, you could just send an email to them, this way you would have saved time and still get the information across to everyone.
In order to get the maximum productivity out of a meeting period, have a proper schedule before the meeting begins, set targets and let it include, the time when the meeting will begin and when it will end and follow this timing measures to the peak. Some people may still come late for the meeting but that does not mean you should go back to the things you have discussed earlier, give a brief re-introduction of the topic and simply move on, remember that some people came earlier.
Do you have a meeting where you expect contributions and information’s from the attendees, before the meeting you could get them prepared by telling them what the meeting would be about and what they are expected to deliver during the course of the meeting, this way the attendees would have been prepared before the commencement of the meeting and this will make it more productive and easy. Ensure not to criticize their ideas because once you do, you might not get a high level of contribution in the next meeting.
Most workers have their active periods in the morning, some are still bright towards noon, and this means that people should be allowed to carry out their duties in the morning, meetings can come up later in the day or maybe close to closing periods.

I have far too many meetings. You make some good points here.
I think also that it is important to agree the key decisions at the end, review the actions and summarise. Otherwise the meeting can be a waste and there is a danger that the meeting needs to be repeated.
This publication made me remember when I worked many years ago in a very important bank in my country, I worked on the 27th floor of that financial tower, and sometimes in one day I had about 10 meetings and even video conference with other banks.
