Here lets discuss E-Commerce and some of necessary Points or issues that should be over-viewed before starting an E-Business.
Main Issues Related to E-Commerce:
Although, since its birth; E-commerce has made a rapid growth and so has the competition in order to utilize it in the best manner.
But it has brought with itself some key issues that I have noticed and I would like to address them as following.
Maintaining Customer Loyalty:
It's not easy to attract new customers using e-commerce, since the ratio of selling products to maintained customers stays in a range of 60-70%, therefore getting new customers falls in the range from 5-20% as per the competition.
Example: If there are multiple organizations selling same product, then when one customer buys from company A and is satisfied with the product, it wont go for company B next time.
Online Id Verification:
It is also a core issue that we can not get properly known to our customer. We often face this issue in terms of fake orders that are done using fake ids and numbers. This causes us a huge loss.
Example: A customer enters wrong credentials and places an order (if necessary steps not taken), when the location is reached there is no one to receive. And we face a huge loss.
Competitors:
They are everywhere. They offer the same products as we do, and they gain whatever reputation it takes to beat us. Unless we create a strategy to overcome them.
Example: let us say that Samsung and Huawei are two brands that are offering relatively similar services, a customer satisfied with Samsung wont switch to Huawei without thinking much and there is always a risk factor involved as well.

The return and refund policy:
This policy mainly used in e-commerce endorses a lot of issues for our finance department as well as the delivery workers.
As if the customer didn’t like the product or if it was refundable, the whole accounts are to be changed which creates bit of a mess in the department, also somewhere it creates uncertainty in the mind of customers.
Example: If I order a product from apple and it does not match the requirements that I confirmed before buying, I got the rights to complain and get my parcel either exchanged or returned and refunded, this can cause problems to the managing company.

You have touched on some key drawbacks or issues as regards to running an e-commerce business successfully. Anyone who wants to venture into eCommerce or any online businesses should understand the difficulties and find out ways to overcome those difficulties and issues in order to start and run a successful online or eCommerce business.
