SPACE JUNK AND DAMAGE TO PLANETARY SYSTEMS

Greetings dear members of this blockchain, with this publication I start my career as a blogger hoping that my publications are pleasing to you. In this sense, doing a review of the platform I have become familiar with the working mechanism and the topics of @project.hope, so I decided to make my first conceptual contribution in this community that supports content of biotechnological, scientific, psychological interest, among others.

So that in this installment we will be addressing the issue of space debris, which although we can not observe in many cases, it is well known that it causes damage to our planetary system. Therefore, it is important to highlight that the near orbit of our planet is full of junk, better known as space debris, of which are millions of uncontrollable fragments of different diameters that are part of old satellites out of service, we can also find pieces of space vehicles that by their nature and disposition the collection of them is a difficult task.

This debris is somehow responsible for space accidents, hinder satellite communications and are affecting the navigation systems in our globe.

In 1957, the Soviet Union dared to achieve one of the most cherished goals for mankind, which was to conquer outer space, and therefore launched the first artificial satellite from Earth. The United States could not be left behind and a year later did the same, and in mid 1961 we managed to send the first human to outer space.

In this sense, we can establish that the beginning of the space age coincided with the great acceleration which is what scientists call the enormous global changes that took place at that time, the emergence of industrial processes and advances in technology facilitated the lives of people. Although if we analyze the history we realize that the current changes also caused adverse effects to the planetary system and today we can observe an atmosphere with high concentrations of carbon dioxides, product of the burning of fossil fuels which has generated global overheating and the destruction of the ozone layer, in addition to the loss of biodiversity and imbalance in the systems that make up our planet.

Therefore, if you found this information useful, I invite you to leave your contribution in the comments section.

Greetings @hive.black, the waste either in the inner or outer part of our planet cause damage to it, certainly at the outer level is more difficult to take measures to reduce the presence of the same due to the dispersion capacity that these may have. Thank you for your contribution

Hive Tour Update - Financial stages

Hey @hive.black - this is an interesting post and good to see you posting to PH.

I can't help thinking that we are often short-sighted and a tad selfish in our pursuits. Often we do what we need right now and do not consider the damage we are potentially doing for generations to come. I wonder if one day our future generations will look back at us and think - what a useless selfish generation.

Hopefully, we can start acting a bit more responsibility and not just create so much junk in space that it becomes difficult for future generations to benefit from near orbit and we could spend a bit more money and dispose of things after we have finished. What do you think?

Great post - have a glass of !WINE on me.

Yes that would be very good, spend a little money to repair the damage caused by space junk, because if we think about it, that is a benefit for human beings, otherwise if we don't do it the Internet that we all use every day would be slower and slower.

I thank all those who supported me, read and commented on my publication and I will also be telling you a little about the dangerous lakes and rivers. And a little bit about our planet earth, since it would be very good to know it. Thank you
