RE: Mobility Of Labour And Types of Mobility Of Labour

in Project HOPE4 years ago

Just because after almost 3 years on the platform you are unable to do go to "replies" section in someone blog to look for the comment, it does not mean that the reason was not given.

Everyone who did at least basic research about how Hivewatchers work knows very well that we have always given a reason for the blacklist in the comment.
Also, the blacklist for the recycled spam is always accompanied by comments left on the abusive posts. Which you also refused to go and lookup.

Also, the community and abusers are always given the reason why some account is blacklisted when then come to ask in our Discord.
But you have also refused to do so.

Instead, you prefer to unleash your aggressive attacks on Hivewatchers.

Sort:

I don't attack anything. Are you trying to make me an abuser too, @hivewatchers???

Why do you interpret my comment as such?

Tell me please in the first comment on this post where have you mentioned EXACTLY why this user is blacklisted?

And again, why does he have to get to you on discord, why not on an open post?

I forgot, have you thought that there are probably users who don't want to use discord or simply don't know how tp use it?

If there is an informative comment left by "Hivewatcher" account about the blacklist, then logically there must be a previous comment somewhere on the user's blog that explained the reason for it.

Also, if someone is unwilling to go to Discord to ask, they can just send us a comment on the blog to ask the reason why someone is blacklisted. But you refused to do so too and preferred to spread accusations.

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you"

Logically would have been for you to make those comments more precise.

We don't have to come and ask you what a certain user has done...who knows when to be targeted by your bot generated comments.

By no means am I encouraging spam, plagiarism or theft on this platform, but your comments are vague, you target certain users endlessly with them and I don't see any reason why they should come on discord and ask for forgiveness.

If his post would contain stolen content or phishing links then your comments would make sense.

Otherwise I see no sense at all in generating 'awareness comments' on this man's posts.

You should probably rethink these types of automated comments. The way I see it automation and bots have brought more bad than good to Hive.

Since "blacklist" marks have been removed from some of the frontends, there is no way to inform/warn the community about the blacklist being put not the account. Many abusers ignore it anyway and keep abusing as long as they get curation on their abusive posts.
This automatic "blacklist information" comments have been done like this since 2016 and almost no one has ever complained and we have mostly received positive feedback.
Also, logically it would not make sense to blacklist any abuser if nothing would change as they would not be marked as blacklisted and the community would not know about it.
It would be just pointless and nonsensical.
Except you and few other people, there have been only a few complaints and they almost always came from other abusers or abuse cheerleaders/enablers.

Why have you downvoted this post by the way, as many others of this user? What's the reasoning, or is it on auto as well as the comments?

I have posted you few screenshots few comments above. You might have missed it.
The user was reposting previous posts. Deleted old posts and replaced them with fallacious "error" message in an attempt to cover up the recycling. Probably thought that deleting it would make it impossible to search for.
The same activity has been done many times by many different users who tried to deceive in the same way. It is a very predictable activity that we have seen many probably hundreds of times.

Here is another screenshot from our database showing which posts these are:

There were many more posts. We only commented on those recent ones.

You are right that "hivewatcher" comment could've improved to give a reason for the blacklist copied from initial ban comment. It would require annoying coding and fiddle with the database.
