Sometimes, you may sit and wonder, what exactly are the billionaires of this world doing differently from the rest of the population. Many things would come to your mind. But I'll like to tell you that above all the thoughts that you generated as reasons for this, the power of visualization stands at the apex of it all. Why do I say this? I say this simply because, there's nothing man made on this earth that wasn't first an idea in someone's mind.

The ability to see a picture in your mind of what you want to create, and struggle to bring it to reality is the highest of all the skills to develop. To sit down and imagine a 70 storey building, and picture you owning it, is something many can't do. You'll just say to yourself, it's impossible. But you'll agree with me, that if you spend 15 minutes everyday visualizing owning a building of that height, somehow things will happen in your favor.

And the worst thing that some people do is in fact the reverse of it. Visualization is supposed to be used for looking at the positive side of things yet to be materialized, but some people would sit down and imagine all the negative possibilities of things. They'll give themselves a thousand reasons why it's going to be impossible to achieve that goal. Just imagine that scenario with me, a person is already convinced that he can't do it. It's finished.

It doesn't take too much, to sit down perhaps on a beautiful evening and think about all the wonderful things you'll like to happen in your life. Feel your dreams as though they were already a reality. If it's a house you're hoping to buy, imagine yourself signing the deal, and walking into that house.

If it's a lovely car that you want to buy imagine yourself driving that car, and all your friends congratulating you for your great taste. In most cases, the simplest things are where the truth lie. In as much as it has been resounded through history that this practice works, people tend not to do it. By visualizing what you want to happen or what you want to create as a reality already, your draw forces that will bring those things to your reality.

You just have to believe in it. If you take some time to look around you at something really beautiful, perhaps a beautiful building, you'll get to understand that this whole building must have been in somebody's mind when that land was completely bare. That person imagined it in his or her mind and put resources together to bring it to life. All the great businesses and ideas were first very well visualized. We all must tap into this great source of power, and bring our dreams to reality.

I think you have to diffirenciate visualization from day dreaming

Visualization and day dreaming are similar in a lot of ways. Both can be harmful if over done, and both can really help you focus on the goal you have in mind, and have your subconscious mind figure out ways to make it happen in reality.

Most times people look at day dreaming as a bad thing or what lazy people do, but I tell you many really great men go out to quiet places and sit for hours day dreaming of their idea and how to bring it to fruition. Very similar to visualization, their merits and demerits depends on how you use them. You give a knife to someone, he may use it to do something useful or he could use it to kill himself. Thanks for coming around!

The power of visualization is definitely a very powerful technique that helps us in a positive way to achieve our dreams, because just fixing our mind on what we want with all our mental power will bring us benefits as we will contribute to consolidate what we most desire.
