Hello community, I was recently talking to a group I belong to regarding the security we should have with our accounts on the platform, and especially our Wallets. This from a recent scam of which some users were victims. And yes, it causes annoyance, of course, that you lose the money that you could earn in one way or another, but that is our responsibility.
I think there is a tendency, and I understand it, to want someone to come to the rescue, because that has always been the case when we talk about traditional finance, i.e. the banks. When a problem occurs with their bank account, people go to the institution and talk to whoever they need to talk to in order to solve the problem, or through online banking platforms a lot of things are usually done and some problems are solved, but it turns out that when we talk about Blockchain, there are usually no intermediaries.
For example, if we make a transfer to another account, it is direct from one wallet to another, so no one is in the middle authorizing or not the transfer, which brings us to the point I want to highlight in this post, if we make a mistake and transfer to another different user, by misplacing the username, it means that the mistake is ours, and we must assume it, since most likely we will not be able to recover our coins.
Now, at this point I also want to emphasize that in "general lines " in the BLockchain there is no single central body (at least not in theory) that can control the funds of an account of which you do not have the keys, however, I can highlight that, as I have seen in some opportunities, the witnesses or Witness can block accounts, of course, What is the process?, technically I do not know, however, I have seen that it has happened.
However, the logical thing is that everyone has full control of their passwords and accounts, practically the origin of the Blockchain and cryptocurrencies is that, trying to remove so much power to banks and make finance decentralized, and that each of us is responsible for what we do or do not do with what we earn.
But I know that it is something complicated to assume for many people, in view that in general, by social and academic education we were formed to have certain dependencies (employment, management of our money, etc), and not everyone is willing to submit that control, and it is understandable, however, it is something that we can and should- improve.
For now I can say that I see more and more acceptance of cryptocurrencies by many people, even institutions and large investors have entered this market, which in one way or another will further boost this whole financial ecosystem.
I just wanted to share these thoughts with you.

Certainly our keys are our responsibility, but when a type of fraud occurs it is at least very important to make it known so that those with power are aware, and also to let the community know who it is that is cheating or scamming people.
I think that publicly exposing who has committed a scam is important, Because this helps other people not to fall into the trap.
It is always very important to take care of our keys and not to click on suspicious links.

Those thoughts of feeling some trust and waiting for someone to come to the rescue as you rightly put it is a discarded element in the Blockchain world, since beyond the trace that can be made to the resources as there are no intermediaries or direct responsible parties, it is unlikely that we will have the answers that traditional banking provides. So we must be very cautious and have enough expertise at the time of managing our billeneras. Excellent article.

Actually I agree with your point , if you know how to manage your currency then you will not face any problem in your future. Recently I have seen one person I forget the name has lost 20billion dollar in just one day how strange it is.
