Covid-19 viral mutation rate in India records new deadly variants

in Project HOPE3 years ago

Greetings friends of @Projet.HOPE, in this opportunity I will be socializing with all of you content related to the mutation rate that the Covid-19 variants are generating in India, the publication is oriented to describe the biological alterations that the coronavirus experiences in the geographical conditions of India, in addition to the levels of infestation and the high mortality rate that this country suffers since the arrival of the pandemic but in recent months has increased to alarming levels.

In genetics, mutation rate is known as the referential value of the frequency of new mutations in a gene or organism over time, this behavior occurs mainly due to the absence of natural or artificial mechanisms that produce antigens, i.e. when an individual does not produce antibodies similar to those of viruses, it triggers an increase in the rate of viral mutation.

I wanted to describe the biological elements involved in the increase in the rate of viral mutation, in order to contextualize and generate a perspective of the serious situation currently suffered by citizens in India, considering that our brothers in India are currently registering the highest number of infections and deaths compared to the months following the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this regard, it has been mentioned that the biological alterations that the coronavirus undergoes in India produce variants that invade the body's organs at a faster rate, in addition to evading the effectiveness of vaccines to the point of affecting the immune system of people who have already been vaccinated.

This unfortunate situation of infections and deaths at alarming levels in India has been related by the scientific community to the mutation coded as P681R, which according to experts is able to optimize the process of virus entry at the cellular level and increase its ability to invade tissues and organs.

In this regard, it is worth mentioning that as long as the World Health Organization does not establish effective mechanisms to control the virus, it will undoubtedly continue to generate random mutations and cause more deaths not only in India but also in any part of the world.

This is a major problem faced by the citizens of India that could be faced by any other country if we do not effectively combat this virus that seems to give no truce, now presenting these variants that make them more dangerous. We urgently need effective mechanisms for its control and eradication.

Greetings friend Emilio @emiliomoron, "We urgently need effective mechanisms for its control and eradication", unfortunately it seems that this is not the same concern of world leaders, nor of international health organizations, much less of large pharmaceutical corporations. Thank you for reading.

This might give you a clue why the mutation occurred at a fast rate.

Greetings @kaminchan, interesting post I didn't know it. Thanks for the video.

Happy Friday friend, I really enjoy your post, thank you for helping us understand more easily why these mutations happen. Regards.

Greetings @nahela, thanks to you for stopping by to read.

If you look at the numbers you see that India started vaccination AND stopped using Ivermectin just before the c19 numbers started going up.
btw. Ivermectin was quite successfully used as early covid treatment, and it is cheap in India. Why India stopped using it? Only tha pharma/vax lobbies might know...

Greetings @captainklaus, ivermectin has been effective in many regions in South American countries, in relation to your approach and questions are valid and contextualized.

Why India stopped using it?.... "only pharmaceutical/vaccine lobbyists can know", it is not excluded that behind all this is a big business.

Hello friend, hey this is a very horrible situation, India is going through one of its darkest moments, it is sad the truth, there have been many deaths, this disease is killing innocent people, children, families, it is really horrible, so we must take care every day more. Greetings.

The actions of big business and the side effects of those actions are killing many more people than the disease :(

Hi @franyeligonzalez, yes the situation in India is getting out of control, and I don't know if it is paranoia but in Venezuela these last days a very alarming spike of contagions has started.
