– Flash Points –

1 – History shows that all fiat currencies eventually die.
2 – Reserve currencies in particular are prone to devaluation and demise.
3 – For the US dollar, the endgame is near.

– Synopsis –

According to a recent report at Concoda.com, the idea that the US dollar may lose its dominance and status as the world’s reserve currency is becoming increasingly common.

Old News for New Readers

More and more people around the world are coming to realize that the dollar’s position is being threatened. Recently, news of the slipping dollar is being reported not only in business reports and on financial podcasts, but also in the mainstream media.

Collapse and Collapse

History shows that reserve currencies are destined to fail. As we can see from the declines of the Roman and British empires, funding imperialism leads to collapse. The fact that an empire must fund its growth and expansion spells doom for its currency.         (Image source)

Furthermore, the collapse of the currency is soon followed by the collapse of the empire.

Avoiding the Dollar

The world is starting to understand that the dollar-centric system is on shaky ground. As Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif recently stated, “The actual mechanism would be to avoid dollars.”

– Insight from Outside –

As an empire expands beyond its sustainable limits, it must debase its currency in an attempt to fund that expansion. That’s a historical inevitability.

Fools, Gold

The US dollar has been dying since the Vietnam War. The US spent over $10 billion per year on the war, leading to a major federal deficit. That resulted in a decline in the purchasing power of the dollar.

As the war dragged on, the situation became worse – until 1971, when Nixon “closed the gold window,”  making the situation much worse. Through Nixon’s foolish act, the dollar became a purely fiat currency.

Fake Money

Consequently, the US$ is now in a particularly tenuous situation. In the past, the currencies used by the Roman and British empires had some actual value, based on gold or other assets. On the other hand, the US dollar is a purely fiat currency, based on nothing and backed by nothing.    (Image source)

Sort:

Despite the fact that I do not doubt for a second the death of the dollar. I think his dying agony can take a long time.

True, it will take quite a bit of time.

But, as Hemingway said about going bankrupt, at first it happens slowly, and then it happens suddenly. I expect the same will happen when the dollar collapses.

It seems the end of dollar is fast approaching, so sad !

It will probably be worse than "sad." The dollar and other fiat currencies will plummet, and the situation could be quite unpleasant, even terrifying.

This propaganda is a serious one. The US better be careful although the end is near i must say. I like the news that comes from your blog..
So what does the future hold

All fiat currencies will plummet. Essentially, it will be a race to the bottom. The first-place "winner" will be the greatest loser, but all the others will also be losers.

Fake phantom fiat currencies will be replaced by real money, either gold and silver or cryptocurrency. The transition will not be smooth, and the path towards transition will be littered with the corpses of all sorts of various entities.

That means the solution is to get precious metals and stock pile them. Even I am afraid of the future of my country.

Yep, get a stockpile of precious metals. That's the best insurance these days.

That must be a lot of.money

If the US dollar should eventually fade. What will happen to other currencies that a so under valued?
They can't just rise up under the blues because US dollar crashed.

In my own opinion, I don't think it's only the US dollar that will suffer when it crashes, other undervalued currency will be dragged too.

Meaning spending their currency will only be limited within their country.

Reserved currency will fail??🤔🤔🤔
What does it mean please?

The US dollar is now the de facto "global reserve currency." That means that all oil is traded in US dollars only. If a Japanese company wants to buy oil from Saudi Arabia, it has to pay in US dollars. That's part of the decades-old "petrodollar" arrangement between Saudi Arabia and the US.

When the US dollar loses its status as "reserve currency," then oil and much other trade will not be done in US dollars anymore. Then, the US dollar will not be as powerful, and will be seen as just another local currency. Countries will bypass the dollar, and conduct trade using their own currencies.

And regarding the other currencies, they too will collapse. As I stated in another comment, it's a race to the bottom. The US dollar will probably hit bottom first, but the euro, the yen, the yuan, and all other currencies will follow close behind.

Wow. Buying oil in other currencies. I'm waiting to see that happen.

Well since it's a race to the bottom and us dollar is giving a headstart. We'll see how the turn out of events will be.

In this situation wether it crashes or not there are still beneficiaries on both ends

Never knew this much of $10 billion is spent yearly on dollar

That's how much the US spent on the Vietnam War in those years.
