[They say "don't judge a book by its cover"] because we are human and we always tend to pre-judge.
As for that amount, it is medium high in CV. I also go through this every 15 days. Only in my case they are all electronic files and with very, very specific patterns, which at the time of publishing the job application, it is not announced, it is used as a filter.
What you mean if people know or know about the brand or personal image, unfortunately a little more than 1% of the global population knows itself as such, with its potentialities and weaknesses.

I don't think people realise when you have hundreds of CVs to review and loads of people to interview, you are looking for that spark. I want to find someone that I belive, yes, this is someone I could work with.
