I also try not to drain my VP less than 80% because then it takes a long time to recover.

I don't seem to understand this point. If I drain my VP below 80%, will it affect my APR negatively?

Another question I want to ask is: Is there a period to vote on a post to get the maximum curation reward and APR from the post?

    if VP goes below 80% then it affects reward and since 20% charges in a day so in this case, it takes over a day time to get 100%. usually, the curation reward is higher with more VP.

    Voting after 5 min is the right time for a higher curation reward but its not possible all the time.
