Type 2 patients are comfortable using CGMs under remote guidance from Onduo coaches, study shows (mobi health news)
According to a study presented by virtual diabetes clinic Onduo, Type 2 diabetes patients who used a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system as part of a virtual diabetes clinic program saw improvements in their HbA1c (which is measured to allow clinicians to get an overall picture of what our average blood sugar levels have been over a longer time-period) and 95% stated hat their knowledge of diabetes management improved over the course of the program.
Notably, more than half of the patients were unaware of CGM systems prior to the involvement.
