I was working on another image for this week's portrait contest but then my PS crashed on my after an hour or so in. It started crashing after i have installed a new GPU so will need to look into it, as loosing progress even though i have autosave enabled is not fun at all.
Anyway, i took another shot for editing, since as most of you probably know, redoing the same work twice just kills the grey brain cells. This was done in a studio with a great fitness model. Just one of those semi posed shots that i like a lot. Some posing combined with some accidental pose that looks interesting and more alive than those "perfect" shots.

Do you always spend that much time editing every image? Also, what contest is this for?
No, not really. But most if the time, until i get the colors i want, then skin cleaning then this and that. It's quite time consuming for me. And this is for #portraitcontest
I use to spend a lot of time on my photos, but then I bought a Wacom tablet and it was a game changer for me. Have you tried one?
Oh, definitely yes, takes a lof of strain from the wrist and speeds up workflow a lot.
That's why I always save often! I've lost way to much work due to now saving often enough...
I also have it on autosave, but for some weird reason the way it crashes the image is unusable afterwards..
I don't rely on autosave. I just hit the good old ctrl+s every 5-10 minutes. Its become a habit for me at this point.
I guess that's what i have to develop too, but since i had no problems before i did not :)
Very nice your post
Thank you
