Today on the "National Holiday" Calendar lists the (15th January) as celebrating "National Hat Day" π© So my personal challenge is to find a song that compliments this event. This is a FUN challenge that is simply meant to be both factual and musically entertaining ~ I hope! π
Personally, I sometimes wear a Sports cap (A "Baseball Cap", as some people may call it) π§’
Ladies also love Hats, it's often an important accessory that they just can't leave home without π
Or perhaps you are planning to collect your University Graduation Award π
These are all just a few examples, there are many more that the Police, "Fire Services", and "Construction Workers" simply have to wear for their own safety protection. So let's all celebrate "National Hat Day" π© Today (15th January 2021).
On a more serious note, Covid-19 restrictions have caused many of our high street shops to close, who were selling non-essential fashion items. Many items of clothing can always be purchased on-line from Companies who desperately need our custom in this most difficult trading environment. Perhaps this evil virus will cause many "Clothing Companies" to close their doors forever! I'm certain there will be some that simply don't survive this current Pandemic, maybe the future will be vastly increased Internet buying (with Crypto is what I am hoping).
Moving on...
To my more musical entertainment side of Today's challenge. Now I need to think hard of a song that fits with the HAT theme, and inspires us all to go out with our hats proudly worn. So here is my song selection, made famous by a Movie (The Full Monty) about a bunch of guys trying to make money by performing nude on stage. You may remember the amusing section of the film, where the guys protect their "personal parts" with their HAT. The song playing is 'You Can Leave Your Hat On" while they do their stage performance.

I should've read this post yesterday since this 'Hat' day is something that resonates with me. At times, I'm called Mad Hatter. Not sure why.
