Released in 1997, Green Day's Time Of Your Life was written about Billy Joe Armstrong's ex girlfriend.
It tells the tale of moving on and was released on their album Nimrod.
It's a great song to learn on the acoustic.
I'd highly recommend it for any player.

Sure Mayorkeys! Learn the rhythm first then let it sink in. Then go for the lead melody if you have what it takes.
It's quite a simple melody to work with.
