It's official, March 1st is my 3 year anniversary with the Hive community!!
I noticed on the hivebuzz.me that I haven't done an official introduction.
er, well.... maybe i did... a long time ago... at that long lost forgotten place i can't remember the name of... 🙃
Man, that flannel is stylish. Wish I still had it. Maybe I can even rock those overalls again...
okay, here's the "quick" intro to a guy who's lived a full 42 years...
I started out a good kid...
but then one day at Wal-mart... lol

parents divorce... became a juvenile criminal... had to move to Dad's house... started making music with @orkhammer
the nineties is just pouring out of us!...
aaaaand...got kicked out of Dad's house...finished high school on my own...got married at 18...ouch...tripped first time...got my first pager and computer hahah... wife left me for a guy who came to see her strip...hitched hiked for first time... sleep on park bench first time... slept in the random woods without tent through a storm first time...started the band Floob
... rocked small town Springfield
... got married again?? ...made two solo-ish albums, one here: Capt Tulip & Friends...made two other crazy experimental solo/collab albums, one here: Full Color Spectrum Machine...
quit job and travelled to West Coast with wife and friends...smoked weed out of an apple for the first time at an ex-sherrif of San Diego's house ... had that "try every drug period"...part ways with wife 2...let house foreclose ... homefree again...Women's March in DC
hit the road again...Rainbow Gathering...Crimethinc Convention Des Moines...RNC New York...let's say i got a little radical anarchisty...another solo album: Jojo and Starla ... opened Anarchist Bookstore, Radish Infoshop...
and then someone really amazing came into my life!
...made a few albums as an acousta-violent duet called Nora and Gnoll.... joined up with four other anarcho-folk musicians as Spoke Pants of the Flowering Skillet...went on a West coast tour in a veggie short bus in support of (falsely imprisoned at the time) eco-activist Eric McDavid
...moved to piece of land... lived off-grid, no electricity for 2 1/2 winters...how many kids can say they used an outhouse ...becoming responsible...move to real house...managing a small natural foods business...hands quit working to the point I couldn't play shows...quit music...10 year relationship falls apart...reflect on my wild life and pull my shit together... focus even more on raising kid and becoming financially stable... Rich Dad, Poor Dad... Bigger Pockets... get into music production... start releasing as Junkfeathers...find Atom Collector...fall in love with this decentralised social platform...learn about crypto...make so many new friends and collabs with other blockchain artists... listen here:
quit job and move back to Springfield...stopped posting on Hive temporarily along with most social media (for music/art posting) to focus on... being a real estate agent for a year... start drawing again .... start sticker shop on etsy: Stickers and Sticks... compiling all my music into Floob Records with the help of my friend and drummer for Floob, Mike... become able to quit 9-5 job...back to Hive... more music... My first NFT art! ... my daughter is 15 now!!!!! and whew!!!
So many great things happening here and I'm happy to keep this my main platform for everything that the future holds!! Thank you all for supporting me!

Wow man, that sounds like a life well lived and still just begun. I'm going to have to dive into some of those links in a bit share some of that experience. I feel like I have shared some of it already, east coast west coast and back and back and back, nights lost in the woods sleeping on a mossy rock, rocky relationships, rockier finances. No kids yet though, thats an adventure on its own I imagine in this crazy world.
I do remember digging your work as junkfeathers back in the steemit days, I was in the steemit open mic scene as @shookriya a lot.
Anyway bruv, looking forward to listening back to some of your material. peace.
Heck yeah! Wouldn't trade it for anything. Sleeping on the ground and eating from dumpsters, i feel, made me a better person.
You doing the hive open mic? I still haven't jumped in yet but open mics are one of my favorite things to go see live and i love it here too.
I haven't yet. I've been spreading myself too thin between a bunch of different projects lately. I hope that in about a month things will change though.
