Even if you're not a Rock fan, it's quite likely that you've already heard some of the songs and performances of this band, which without a doubt, is one of the best rock bands in the world: Guns N' Roses. The band's history is over 36 years old and its trajectory is full of successes that have touched many people. I particularly like the band a lot, but I haven't had the opportunity to watch their show yet.
After thirteen years without releasing a new song in the studio, the band is back with "ABSUЯD", and brings the heavy (albeit "lighter nuanced") and meaningful sound that is already part of their identity. The power of their work is so great, that even after so long it continues to impress, and instigating new rock bands to do the same (although they obviously don't have their vocal and technical quality).
This new sound by the band, originally called "Silkworms" was a song designed to be part of the Chinese Democracy album. The song was eventually scrapped, and recently released as unreleased material (which is actually true, but it wasn't recorded this year). Technically the music is flawless (the production level around it is surreal and Rock lovers will love it), and full of sonic details.
Vocally, the band's stamp is totally there. Strong, safe tones, mixed with some sharper moments that model the music's development as something with a seemingly jarring tonality... But it's purposely made that way, to create a bigger impact on the listeners' ear. I really enjoyed what the band did, and I can't understand why this material was originally dropped. The sounds great!

Particularmente me gusta mucho la banda, pero aún no he tenido la oportunidad de ver su programa.
Después de trece años sin lanzar una nueva canción en el estudio, la banda está de regreso con "ABSUЯD", y trae el sonido pesado (aunque con "matices más ligeros") y significativo que ya es parte de su identidad. El poder de su trabajo es tan grande, que incluso después de tanto tiempo sigue impresionando e instigando a nuevas bandas de rock a hacer lo mismo (aunque obviamente no tienen su calidad vocal y técnica).

Vocalmente, o carimbo da banda está totalmente lá. Tons fortes, seguros, misturado com alguns momentos mais agudos que modelam o desenvolvimento da música como algo de tonalidade aparentemente destoante... Mas é propositalmente feita dessa forma, para criar um impacto maior no ouvido dos ouvintes. Eu gostei muito do que a banda fez, e não consigo entender o porque desse material ter sido originalmente descartado. O som é ótimo!

Guns 'N Roses has always been one of my favorite bands. From their original albums (Appetite for Destruction, Use Your Illusion I/II, Lies, Spaghetti Incident) I can maybe find 3 songs in total that I don't care for. However, I don't particularly care for this song.
I still haven't listened to Chinese Democracy but my understanding is that's not really Guns 'N Roses, it's just Axl without any of the other original band members. If it doesn't have Axl's vocals, Izzy's song writing and Slash's guitar playing, then it isn't Guns 'N Roses as far as I'm concerned. Okay, at the VERY least, Axl and Slash...we'll have to see how any new songwriting goes. I'm not saying Chinese Democracy is bad or anything, I don't have an opinion on it yet, just that it's hard for me to identify the band as "Guns 'N Roses" despite the name. Supposedly, the reconstituted band has been working on some new music here and there. I hope they release an album at some point.
Yeah! I have been following their work for a long time. However, in their discography, Chinese Democracy is the album I like least.
I'm prayin' for that. I need a new album.
