tempo ladder (week 5, run 4)

Tempo ladder exercise with fast sections long 6, 8, 10, 8, and 6 minutes.

Today I went to the right bank of river Sava, to the north where there is forest and fields. The surface was asphalt, gravel, single-track. Some single-track parts were covered with bush and there was no chance for a decent pace. I needed to be very careful and not to trip over any branches. At places I was actually plowing through the bush. Fancy ::)

The cover chart doesn't show five distinct fast sections because of this bushy obstacles thingy. Yet, the last two sections obviously had more continuous effort. Overall pace wasn't on the level of Tuesday's run but it was quite good nevertheless.

With these tempo or interval sections I am touching pace zones 2 and 3 which is a welcome change compared to the runs of previous months.

These metrics are telling too. Good that the short run is on tomorrow.
