A sixth of the year 2021 is already behind us. In these strange times, time flies ever quicker.
February was a productive month, running-wise. The graphic below takes into account hikes too since it's slightly off. The total running mileage was232.41 kilometers or exactly 8.3 kilometers on average daily. Which is more than planned. Or better said, wished for. In fact, the goal was reached yesterday. Today's run was more a bonus. Not setting the bar for the daily average was the main goal.
Good eight kilometers at a slow pace on a chilly and sunny Sunday morning.
Sorry, no photos from the run itself. The phone stayed at home. It's not necessary to carry these gadgets with you all the time.
How was your running month of February? Share your stories with us. Some of you were exceptionally hard at work having fun while running.

*When someone tells you that what you want to do is impossible, change the word in your head to hard. What you want to do is hard. Hard is doable – it just requires dedicated work and effort and you can make it happen.

8km per day is good going. Do you feel recovered each day before you run? I would like to try and improve my body's tolerance to running so I can do more. I am going a bit further each week compared with last year. Stay well.

Thanks.
It all depends on the effort. The next day, after a hard exercise, you just go slower :)
With maintenance and long exercises, the goal is time on legs, not speed or distance...
Yes, I know. We are biased towards distance and pace/speed. Yet, time is the most important component here.
Good luck with the gradual prolonging of your efforts. The rule here is to step up for three weeks, that step down a bit in the fourth week.
