Description from Strava:
I was out at a company reunion last night in London. I left that job over eight years ago, but I worked with some of the people for nearly twenty years. It was good to see them again. I did not drink much and left before others to get the train. It was so busy around Trafalgar Square, but then people were out for Christmas markets and the theatres.

I managed to get up for parkrun on a damp morning. It was raining a little, so I wore my jacket and my Hive hat. As I jogged there it was actually not too bad, so I took the jacket off before we started. I did keep the hat on. I could see that it was going to be slippery. The mud was not deep, but you really need trail shoes to get some grip and some people were in road shoes that have less tread.

I was not expecting a great time and just tried to keep going whilst staying upright. As I know the course well I could judge the better path the take. That can involve running on the bits with more grass, but that will get worn down over winter. I managed to keep some others in sight and actually passed a couple on the last lap.

I did it in 28 minutes, which was about what I expected and I am happy enough considering the conditions. One of the old guys who is always there was covered in mud as he has slipped over and I expect others did too. I just had splashes up my legs. There were less runners than some recent weeks, but then people will be put off by the weather. The really dedicated ones will run any time they can.

I did not hang around for coffee as I have things to do today. I think the rain may ease off.

I hope you all have a great weekend and can run free!

Definitivamente me encanta la gorra voy hacer una, es muy bonita 👲🧢🧢

Other people have different ones, but I was given mine. I expect there are companies who can make you one.

I need to find someone to make one here in my town; there aren't many Hivers, and the platform isn't very well known.

I would think that companies who do promotional shirts etc could do it or maybe they could do a patch you could sew on. Keep spreading the word!

!BEER

Hey, great idea! I'm going to look into places that do embroidery and printing. Thanks for the idea, my friend.
