Good evening all and sundry, I am here once again with much enthusiasm and excitement to write and share with you guys how we finally got our books distributed to the Junior High Students here in Navrongo after several weeks of making an attempt to do so. I can remember before we went to the school we just did the distribution, we went to a nearby private school but the headmaster wasn't giving us a better response, every day he keep tossing us here and there so we decided to look for a different school that would be ready to accept us at a go.
Luckily on our side, the headmaster Mr. Francis Xavier, for Joseph Adabayere Junior High School accepted us and directed us to write a letter to the District Education office for permission because it is a public school and we need to seek permission from the higher authority in order to make it an official process. We did just as he told us by writing to the District office and we submitted the letter last week Friday. We gave him a call and talked to him about that and he told us that he would give us feedback later when he follows it up the following week.
Yesterday, which was Monday and a new week, we gave him a call early in the morning reminding him about it and he said by the end of the day he would get us feedback which he did. We then had the green light to go to the school and start with our distribution of the exercise books.
We went to the school today and we got there around 9 am the students were in class but we spoke with the headmaster and he announced it to the teacher so they conveyed all the students to one classroom so that we can do it just at once without wasting much time. But before we started with the distribution of the books, we introduced hive blockchain to them of which the only lady @nhaji01 in our mix did the introduction and I continued by telling them about hive games such as splinterlands, Muterra, GodsUnchained, etc. I also did talk to them about how important playing games help develop your intelligence quotient (IQ).
The last person @yahuzah also came in and gave them a brief introduction to hive music, arts, videos, etc. After his presentation, we then took a few questions from them and we did justice to them as well. We then moved to the main agenda of our going there that is the distribution of the hive books. The students' total number was 80 plus and we distributed 2 Hive exercises book to each student. We did not forget about the staff also, and for that, we gave them 21 Hive books as well the headmaster told us that the total number of staff was 21.
After sharing with the students and teachers we had some few left about 6 more left, so I decided to use that as a giveaway to distribute to anyone that answers my question right. 3 students were able to get my questions right and each received one book. Lastly, I just decided to give the remaining three exercise books out randomly and that ended our distribution.
We finally came out of the classroom and took general pictures with the students after which we did the same with the staff too. It was really full of fun and excitement. The kids were really happy and very excited with a lot of joy on their faces. I am glad to be part of the team that made helped in the distribution of the books.
