It is unfortunate to see that people in general only associate adulthood with a lot of responsibilities to bear. They make it sound so boring and dull that the younger generation now wish to remain young forever. However, what many people don't seem to understand is that growing old is a blessing. Every stage of life has something exciting and meaningful for one to learn. Adulthood although comes with some responsibilities, also comes with a treasure chest full of possibilities. The journey through adult hood may sometimes look scary from afar but it can be quite exciting and thrilling. Here are some of the perks of being an adult.
INDEPENDENCY
Adulthood comes with the freedom and privilege to do as you want and live life on your own terms without relying or depending on anyone else. It allows you the right and choice to live life as your own person without you being constantly under somebody to dictate for you how you should and shouldn't live life. It gives one the opportunities to make choices and decisions that he or she can stand by till the end. There is much freedom for you to do and act as you wish without the fear of being reprimanded by anyone.
FINANCIAL FREEDOM
As an adult, you have the freedom to spend and use money as you like. You become in charge of your finances. How you manage it would now be up to you. You have the freedom to work for your own money and spend it on what you want. Decision making about finances is now up to you. You could choose to buy whatever clothing you want, spend your money on whatever you would like to spend it on without having to receive any query from somebody.
FREEDOM OF MOVEMENTS
Unlike children and teenagers whose movements are often restricted, being an adult allows you the liberty to go wherever you want, whenever you want without restriction from anybody. This is because it is believed that as an adult you are responsible enough to make your own decision and choices and live by them. So an adult has the privilege of travelling to new places, going on adventures, meeting new people, seeing other people's culture and tradition. There is no one to restrict your movement as an adult.
LEARNING AND EXPERIENCING NEW THINGS
In the course of becoming an adult you get to learn new things, encounter various scenarios and situations that will forever shape your life to become a better version of his or herself. You get to meet people that can either shape or mar you, learn from past experiences to make better choices and decisions in the future. You become more wiser and more experienced. You become an examplary figure to the younger generation.
Some of the other advantages and perks of adulthood is the freedom to explore, and try out new things. You will have the opportunity and capacity to try out different things that interest you, dive deep into your passion whether it be for music, art, dancing or whatsoever and learn more about yourself. You also have the freedom to make choices that concerns your career, and actually pick a job that you would love and enjoy doing, not something that someone may coerce you into learning. The last but not the least, is the relationship aspect. It is believed that as an adult your mature enough to know what you want. So adulthood opens one to the possibility of creating valuable relationships and finding partners that would see you through thick and thin. it opens one to the dating world and the fun of it.
In as much as there are responsibilities that adults will always carry or bear. the fun and joy of adult hood will always supercede it

The only part I like is the freedom to move about without being restricted
Even though I wasn’t restricted as a child, now that I’ve grown, I’ve tend to like that freedom to go anywhere better
Freedom to go anywhere and do anything without stress is the greatest joy of adulthood. I'm loving it now and I can say it's one of the best things adulthood had giving me.
