Hello to the Hive Ghana Community! Welcome to my blog. Today, I found fantastic and hot October topic on Hive platform. Although, I don't know a lot about Science and Medicine but whenever there is anything about Healthcare I can make a good debate. It is because I have attended many Seminars in University. Being Science hater, I can't keep myself away from learning anything that can help in improvement of my family's health so I want to share what I know about Breast Cancer and Eye Ocular Problems.
Breast Cancer Day
I can remember this day when our University girls like to wear Pink dress and boys like to fold pink belt on the arms. It was 13th October every year when my University BZU, Multan arranged an awareness program for students. There were many guest speakers mostly from medical collages to spread awareness about Breast Cancer Day. As 13th October is coming so let me highlight something helpful for you.
All these information I collected from the University Seminar so don't take them final words, you should also make search about Breast Cancer. Anyway!
What is Breast Cancer?
As the name indicates, it is cancer in breast region in Females. There can be growth of some bud like structure. This structure in most cases is painless at initial stages. So when you are have any outgrowth on your body then contact with doctor. In most of the cases, it has seen this cancer was more common in a mother who is giving breast feeding to her baby. Baby sucks mother's nipple to drink milk and sometimes it can initiate breast cancer. So, there should be a specific milking period for the baby. Breast Sucking in any case can be a reason.
Treatment
There are high chances of treatment if the breast cancer case is diagnosed on the initial stage. So anyone in females have this problem must contact with doctor to save your life.
World Eyesight Day
On the 12th October every year, there can be seen some awareness Seminar in the world. Our eyes are our world so we should be careful about their health. On this day, people are educated about Eyesight Problems.
What are Eyesight Problems?
There are many eyesight problems that people usually ignores resulting in vision impairment and vision loss. It can be eye ocular problem, eye blindness, eye cataract etc.
Treatment and Care
In eye cases, we should take protective measures that are more effective in treatment. In Pakistan, there is attack of Eye Virus so World Eyesight Day is more important. Although, there are some eye drops available for eye problems as a treatment but I consider eye care most important.
Conclusion
Breast Cancer Day and World Eyesight Day are the most important health events in October. We should educate and guide our family about it before a permanent loss. The awareness about breast cancer and eye problem should be spread, Seminar like these are the back bone of this awareness campaign, I never joined such seminar, but i am willing to join in the future.
