Distributing exercise books to schools is an excellent way to promote literacy and quality education. The Sustainable Development Goal 4 clearly talks about quality education, and this should be a mandate for all.
As Hive seeks to impact lives across the world, this initiative has been dubbed for some time now to help schoolchildren with exercise books.
Last year, we managed to reach some selected schools, and thank God this year too, we are continuing with this massive exercise.
As reported yesterday by the @hivestudentshub community, the team from the Ashanti region embarked on the book distribution to some selected schools in Asamang. The team led by @awuahbenjamin, @zicogh and @kreativita went for the exercise.
We had already gone to the school to meet the headmaster and some of the teachers to discuss the distribution with them. They gave us the green light to carry on with this exercise whenever the need may be.

So, we settled on 17th April, 2023. We went there very early in the morning so we could meet the children while they were in school.
We visited all 3 schools just as planned. Looking at the number of students, we gave out 200 copies of exercise books to Asamang SDA Primary School and 100 each to Methodist Primary School and Adventist Preparatory School.

Afterwards, on behalf of the school, we shared among the schoolchildren.

From there, we moved to Methodist, and likewise, we did the same.
The last on the list was Adventist Preparatory school. We met the Proprietor and He also gave his support for the distribution to go on. The student were gathered and we shared the books among them.
The Headmaster expressed his thanks to Hive and Pleaded to the team to support them in other things like computers and other educational products.
In conclusion, the distribution was very successful and we were glad this came on as planned.
