I'm a product of my experiences in a good way❤️🥰

I don't know why this topic got me all emotional and making me tear up. It just got me thinking and looking back, I've realized just how far I've come. I won't go into details but just gonna share my own outlook on life's experiences and the lessons I've learnt...

Life is often described as a journey filled with twists, turns, challenges, and triumphs. Looking back on my own experiences, I realize that every moment whether joyful or painful has shaped the person I am today. Each chapter of my life has carried a lesson, teaching me resilience, gratitude, and the importance of growth.
I've experienced a whole lot of things and also learnt lessons and most of the lessons, I learnt them the hard way. One of the most defining experiences of my life was learning to rise after failure. I vividly remember a time when I worked so hard for a music competition with my team only to not only embarrass ourselves but also fail the competition because the coordinator decided to make relevant changes at the dime minute. The disappointment felt overwhelming, but it also opened my eyes to the reality that failure is not the end; it is a stepping stone to success. Picking myself up, re-evaluating my approach, and trying again taught me perseverance. It helped me understand that setbacks build strength and courage.
Another significant experience was learning to appreciate the simple blessings of life. During a period of uncertainty, when things were not going as planned, I found comfort in small acts of kindness, family members checking in, friendswho stayed despite the depressive air that's always around me and offered words of encouragement, or even strangers showing compassion. These moments taught me that happiness is not always found in big achievements but often in everyday acts of love and connection.
I have also experienced moments of growth through challenges that tested my patience and determination. Balancing academics, personal goals, and relationships was never easy, yet it taught me the value of time management and prioritization. Most importantly, it showed me that personal growth often requires stepping out of one’s comfort zone and embracing change rather than resisting it.
Looking back, my life experiences have shaped my outlook on the future. I have learned to face challenges with courage, celebrate small victories, and stay hopeful even when the road ahead seems uncertain. Life, after all, is not about perfection but progress, and I am grateful for every experience that has made me stronger, wiser, and more compassionate.

This is a memory of my first year in the university and actually thinking I won't make it through but God has been faithful ❤️🙏
I sincerely hope that this write up will encourage someone out there. Personally I live by the words of Viola Davis in the movie "woman king" that says " if you must be a soldier, you must kill your tears" , to me life is a battlefield and one must fight and take risk to conquer. Tears never did anything for me and I don't think those of us that have had depressive, chaotic and bitter life experiences ever overcame it with tears. Step out of your comfort zone and trust me, you'll have reasons to smile every single day.
I'll stop here because if I want to write about my experiences in life, it will take more than a page🥰
Happy reading 💖
