Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hiveghana community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompts, Hive, as an inspiration.
If I am told that I will turn into a writer, I will not believe it; not to talk of a blogger, I will not believe that either. But look at me today: Hive has really become my biggest inspiration. Writing is one thing I never liked doing, but joining the Hive community, I discovered that once you put your mind to something, you will achieve it.
I remembered when my friend @anitasonia was introducing me; I told her I can’t do this writing thing, but she believed in me that I can do it. According to her, by the time I join and I see people sharing their stories and writing prompts in different communities, I will be inspired to write.
The first week I joined the blockchain, I was still observing the system of operation and the value of engagement and comment inspired. That was when I realised that authors are ready to read my article. I told myself, 'Cindy, you don’t need to be perfect before you can write.' I started up somewhere, and a friend was also there to motivate me. Whenever I read her post, I will be inspired to do more.
Things I see myself achieving and doing most times amaze me because normal me can’t do that. Hive is my greatest inspiration and has taught me consistency in life. When I join the blockchain, I find out for you to be relevant, and I know you need to be consistent in publishing your post. I found out that consistency is the key if you really want to make it in life. It doesn’t matter if you are doing it right, but once you are consistent, you will find yourself doing great.
Hive made me understand in life you need to be patient, and no good thing comes easy. Hive is that platform that keeps encouraging its users to work hard and be patient. It taught me about originality. Hive brings out the best in someone. I have little idea about reputation, but joining Hive, I have to know how important reputation is, and I try my best to keep my reputation. Even at my place of work, I try to keep my reputation high.
It has really inspired my writing skills. If I was told that I can sit and write articles on the blockchain, I would not believe it. Although when I was in primary school, I always wrote short stories, and my classmates would read them. When I got to secondary school, that ambition to write disappear but after I joined Hive,disappeared, I discovered that I am finding my ground back in something I know how to do.
In all, Hive has really helped in shaping me into the lady I am today. I can’t write about my success story without involving Hive. Hive is part of every milestone I was able to achieve. I cherish every opportunity and everything Hive has taught me. I am so grateful for the day my friend introduced me to this amazing platform.
