Our recent Hive health outreach has had a significant impact on a lot of people. Attendees witnessed the life-changing experiences that Hive made possible for the people of Agona Bedomoase in Ghana.
We were privileged to have the support of five optometrist doctors who joined us in lending a helping hand to support Hive's worthy cause of providing free health screenings and medication to many more individuals.
During this health outreach, various health screenings were conducted, which includes blood sugar checks for diabetics, pulse pressure checks, eye examinations, and giving of guidance and counseling to those with health issues or upon diagnosis. Additionally, individuals with severe medical conditions were referred by the doctors to appropriate health centers for treatment.
One of the optometrists, Dr. Moreen Owusu Adusei, shared her experience with Hive and described the Hive Health outreach as an amazing experience. She expressed her fondness for working with Hive and looks forward to all future Hive outreach programs where she can help make a difference.
This was a great experience for all of us as well, seeing the number of people who have benefited from the exercises. We thank everyone who helped to make the exercise a reality.
