I kinda want to join in the "debate" :D
I am currently using a OnePlus 9 Pro which is also part of the Android Family and before this phone I had a OnePlus 6T and before that I had a Samsung. I did have an Iphone, but thats way back xD.
The reason I changed from Samsung to OnePlus was because Samsung was becoming too expensive just like iPhones are and OnePlus 6T & OnePlus 9 Pro was Flagship phones just cheaper and it have been a very nice "ride" up until OnePlus introduced their own Operator System called ColorOS. It had so many bugs to begin with and I lost "key" features while my mate who have the same phones, still have those features x)
ColorOS seems stable now, but my phone is just slowly dying.
So I will be switching to a Google Pixel here soon. Not the new Google Pixel 8, but to Google Pixel 7 - Its still a good phone and not that expensive and I am quite excited to try a Google Pixel, I have never had one :D
When it comes to Apple. I am also using an iPhone for work purposes (This was given to me) and honestly, it works. I don't use it much, but when I use it for it works perfectly.
I have also lately been advicing my parents to just get an iPhone because of their Security and ease of use. Since they just need a phone which works :D

yep, this is soo true. In the past apple devices used to cost a lot but these days they are literally making new phones for similar prices.
I don't know why Samsung flagships have suddenly become more expensive but then I think it's gradually pushing people away.
Ye, Samsungs branding is not as strong as Apples, so they can't get away with charging those prices forever, if you ask me. But meh, dno :D
