This quote has made us see women in different sectors. Even jobs that naturally women are not purposefully applying for. Who is to be blamed? Should we blame our ancestors, who believe women are weaker vessels and should be pampered, or should we blame the proud men all over the world who believe women are second-class citizens and their place is in the kitchen, to serve their desires and take care of children at home?
They believe women at home are not doing anything but spending their money. Hence, they look down on women. Now that this belief has been eradicated. Because there are many women doing great exploits in the world of work. So every proud and overbearing man should keep mute.
Actually, there are things we assign to women, and there are things we assign to men, even though all of us are now working class. The fact remains that women are meant to be in the kitchen; we are the owners and the controllers of that atmosphere. But this sole aim belongs to a full housewife.
When I say full housewife, I mean the one who is collecting a salary from her husband for a well-done job. At this age, women are not to be jobless because in the olden days our fathers majorly invested in agriculture, and there is a great tendency to inherit the land; it belongs to the family, but these days that company can do and undo. If the husband is relieved of his job, who will take responsibility that is on the ground?
If we go to work at the same time and come back home at the same time. I believe it is necessary for us to share this responsibility. It is the husbands who are not considerate. That will still expect that woman to be the only one in the kitchen. If it continues that way, there is a great possibility that the wife will die young. Before she took care of her children, husband, and herself. This aside!
Women find men that can cook romantic and believe they are in safe hands. During pregnancy, if a man didn’t know how to cook, what would be the situation of the family? Eating out?. What if the wife is sick? What if she traveled?
Furthermore, I have heard children boasting about their dad because he can cook. It's a sign of love, a sign of safety for the children. They are always proud of having such a father. It is not an everyday thing; it is just occasionally.
Lastly, in my little understanding, men who cannot cook are wasters of resources. They spend much on food because they are eating outside. Can’t cook ordinary “boiled water” in schools; you will see them giving money to ladies to cook for them. Spending unnecessarily. If a man can cook by himself before marriage, who said he cannot cook after marriage? We are helpmate.
