A pet peeve is an annoyance habit that is frequently minor but has a big personal impact on people. It's a strange habit that can turn a peaceful day into a tapestry of frustration. These annoyances are highly subjective, varying greatly from person to person, and frequently arise from personal experiences or cultural backgrounds.
One of my pet peeves is picking of nose, this is a habit that may be natural but becomes a source of discomfort when done in public. I have a coursemate who is fond of this dirty habit, this lady always picks her nose anywhere, and she doesn't know how to keep herself clean and maintain perfect hygiene.
People named her picking nose in the department, if you just mentioned a lady who used to pick her nose then they will direct you to her, she doesn't know the public or when to maintain her steeze, and this habit always irritates me I do not like to sit with her during lectures.
One day I was in the lecture room but the lecturer was not in class, I had a free seat beside me and the next person I saw who occupied this seat was that lady, I was so embarrassed because there was no space for me to change my seat, I was looking for a way to move from her side and the lecturer entered the class, so I was unable to get a new place to sit.
I decided to manage with her because I thought it was an hour lecture not knowing that the lecturer would extend the time, when this lady started her nose picking I had to caution her and ask her to stop, she stopped for a while but later she was so forgetful and started again.
I was irritated by her behavior because she would always bring out a dried catarrh from her nose, and she would look at it and rub it on her clothes, I felt like slapping her because she is an adult and this behavior will never allow her to get someone who would marry her as a wife.
I called her after the lecture and told her to stop this habit, as a lady you need to be hygienic in all situations, she is a beautiful lady but doesn't know when to stop her annoying habit, most of these habits are what we nurtured when we were little and no one to correct us, I wish she could change this embarrassing attitude.
I detest nose picking and I can cut off any relationship with anyone who has this habit, it is very embarrassing and It is considered impolite and unhygienic, making those who witness it feel uneasy, I am someone who feels irritated easily and the memory will always keep on reoccurring and it would be as if it is happening right away.
Pet peeves can damage relationships if not addressed. A slight irritation can quickly turn into a major fight but addressing these annoyances through conversation can promote mutual understanding and strengthen relationships if the person is ready to change, this habit can be properly managed if truly you discipline your mind.

Nose picking is disgusting, although not unhealthy, whenever your nose is Clogged, find a place hidden pick your nose and clear your nasal,
Please don't do that in public unless it's emergency.
One of the things I observe is people picking their nose. And if I find out that someone likes to do that, I just find a way to stay away from the person as possible.
Haaa God! What is this again.😂
If it were to be me she would have collected that slap before getting the advice. I’d like to believe for some people, they are so used to such acts they do it subconsciously.
I hate it when people pick their nose it's actually disgusting 😩
