Learning is a crucial part of life as it brings into awareness and conciousness, hence, it starts early though informally first through the child learning from the parents and family to the formal which is learnt in the four walls of the school. The formal education can be in a single-sex setting e.g. Boys only or girls only schools and it can be also be in a mixed school involving both genders.
By my experience, the mixed school system offers the best educational setting for a rounded learning amd it prepares a child better for the future. This doesn't mean that the single-sex schools are not advantageous, but i will rather go for the mixed school system for my kids just i had it during my schooling aswell for the following reasons:
• Mixed schools offers a child an opportunity for a social interaction with the opposite gender. This interaction if well maximized positively builds in the child a good sense of relating with the opposite gender healthily as it will be in real life after school where he or she will relate to the opposite gender at home when married, at work, at neighborhood etc which is deprived in single-sex schools.
• Mixed schools opens up a child to a better understanding of the opposite gender needed for his or her personal development. We grow and develop daily by understanding through interaction mostly with those around us. In a mixed school, a child personally grows and develops in understanding how the opposite gender thinks, reason, reacts and understands the emotions, perception of the opposite gender better which is not feasible in a single-sex school. For example, there are strengths and weaknesses of each gender which makes for personal appreciation and growth which can better be understood by interaction through learning together with opposite gender.
• Mixed schools brings about a better academic performance and achievements in a child rather than the single sex schools. It has been observed that females are good listeners and pays more attention in classes which makes them outstanding while the males are good in calculative and tasking courses, these and other abilities can be leveraged on for a better academic performance through discussions, knowledge sharing and some other things.
• Mixed schools offers opportunity for destiny relationships, mutual/beneficial friendships etc Some life imparting relationships like that of marital, business partnership, academic collaborations all starts with ones friends including that of opposite gender. Therefore, mixed schools affords such opportunity as there has been stories of such since agelong. E.g. some marriages started as friendship in mixed schools, some business/professional partnerships started with friendship from mixed school or connected to such.
Therefore, i will choose a mixed school for my children. Thank you for reading, comments, contributions and suggestions are welcomed.

Now I’m questioning my gender because me and listening?? 5 and 1000🤣
From your point of view, then truly mixed school is ideal. However, there are other students who end up going the wrong path even in mixed school. So it really depends on the student most times.
