what are those things you resent your parents for making you do but later learned to appreciate their decisions?

Hmm, that's a good question. I would have to think a moment before answering. When I was young, I didn't understand why my mother would insist I keep the floor of my bedroom clear of toys. I LIKED having my "projects' all over the floor from day-to-day. Now that I am a father, I almost obsesses over keeping the floor clear - perhaps because of my parent's insistence that I keep things clean.

It's better to arrange the toys and keep the room in order, but kids hardly understand that.

I'm still trying to teach my three-year-old son how to not scatter his toys everywhere, it's a lot of struggle for parents lol.
