The idea of establishing Communities on the Hive blockchain has to be one of the favorite thing i love about Hive. The Hive platform is one that is built to expose people's skills and creativity to the whole world.
It is a platform that is decentralized meaning it does not have a single control over anybody's account and it is built for social interaction amongst people who in tone gets rewarded for that creativity by monetizing their contents.
Unlike Web2 companies like Facebook, YouTube, tiktok and so on which are centralized, Hive does not depend on a central body before rewarding its users. As it is evident, Hive is not stagnant since it's inception but they have grown into a platform not just for blogging over the years but one that supports other activities such as games, NFTs, apps, and Web3 tools, all built and active on the same blockchain.
In other words, One of my favorite things about Hive is the sense of community. There are several communities on the Hive blockchain that allows writers and creatives to connect with one and other from different areas of the world without limitations.
Again, these communities has created that natural space for people to grow and the learn in different niches that the would like to partake in. Some of the Communities available on the hive blockchain includes: InLeo, hivenaija, HiveGhana, ladiesofhive, foodiesbehive, hivereachout, comedyclubhouse, photography, lifestyle, gems and so many more.
These communities allows people to express themselves freely in accordance with their niche and what they experience about life. Just like this community, they offer weekly prompt that has to deal with people's experience in life and how they go about it, it allows you to lend your voice to happenings in your environment or the world at large.
Although, some Communities might be too strict but most of the Communities on the Hive blockchain appreciate your contribution for their growth and development by rewarding efforts and showing that your voice on hive is valued.

You just laid out every point. I also think that the part of being able to establish a community to your own taste is a good feature of hive
