Believe me, if not for hive I could have been ignorant of this web space and web 3,thus I really do not blame those that have not found their way into this amazing world of opportunity where there is transparency, open ground for content creators, a decentralized database system, financial opportunities and so on. The beneficial aspect of exploring a new decentralized social networking space just like hive.

There are a lot of business opportunities in the web3 space that are beneficial to people and people can make a living from this great platform. Taking the hive blockchain for instance, hive which is a delegated proof of stake blockchain, acts as a backbone for varieties of decentralized applications and also tokenized communities. Thus, making it one of the best web 3 blockchain for social networking.
BENEFITS OR OPPORTUNITIES IN WEB3
CONTENTS CREATION: This is one of the many benefits of web3, it allows a blogger gain full authority and transparency on your articles. Also, you can gain more engagement on your blogs and thus increase your reputation and value. Just like hive, a web3 platform with so many communities that an individual can explore and create a unique niche and grow their talents, be it music, movies, finance, gaming and so on.
Cryptocurrency: a web 3 platform exposes on to investing and trading in crypto. When involved in web 3 activities you can earn in crypto where you get paid for services rendered.
DECENTRALIZATION: Unlike the centralization space of web 2 where the leadership authority is in a single body like Facebook, Twitter etc. Web3 is a decentralized space where it is centralization free, leadership is spread across several bodies and decision making is not associated to a particular party but from a central point.
WHAT IS HOLDING PEOPLE BACK FROM EXPLORING WEB 3
There could be several reasons which are quite understandable. The thing is it is quite complex and not easy to navigate through.
COMPLEXITY: yeah, it is complex for existing members talk more of novices who are not acquainted with web3 yet. The guidelines and precautions sounds to complex even when you try explain to them that with time they would get a hold of it, they act like we are bluffing.
MONEY MENTALITY : ONE time I tried to introduce someone to hive, I explained how he can make good use of the blockchain to explore his writing and painting career. The next question is 'how much money will I get in return'.. While explaining that it would take time and so on, he lost interest. Some people are not ready to work hard but just want to earn as early as possible forgetting the benefits.
LAZINESS: This can also be a factor because I was a victim, I remember joining hive 6months after I was introduced to it. I had a lazy start that even after I joined it took like a month before I made my first post. Some people are just lazy.
SCAM: Another reason could be the fact that most people see it as a scam or ponzi. They believe that after they work hard their earnings will be taken away from them. Or that one works too hard and gets paid in pennies. I do not blame them bec3the amount of internet fraud this days is alarming but in all due diligence and research is necessary before embarking on a business opportunity.
There are various reasons why people are missing out and holding back on exploring the web 3 opportunities. Hive has done a great job in establishing a genuine platform which is quite easy to navigate and be the best one can be.

This is indeed very interesting. The benefits that come with #web3 are numerous but I believe that just like it took people a while to get comfortable with #web2 it would also take them a while to accept #web3 and all it's benefits.

This is true, especially the making money part. Many people don't write like they should just because of the rewards they are getting and that should not be the case. Another thing is that people still think the traditional world where they blame the governments for all their troubles and getting lower pay with inflation eating everything away will be the best place to make big bucks without knowing web3 and crypto are making people loads of cash but only if we stick with it enough to realize those gains.

It's true that people hold themselves back from opportunities because they don't understand them fully. I've also seen people accuse Hive of being a Ponzi scheme or lose interest because they expect to make great money right from the start. If you're not willing to spend the time, you're not worth earning the dollars. People don't understand that principle.
