I love how the world is evolving. With the advent of new tools and concepts, making life easier and faster, the world is moving faster than we can comprehend. With these changes come ideologies, concepts and lifestyles, that have been categorized as the new “normal,” while some are great, some suck.
What’s one thing that has been normalized that makes no sense to you or gets you angry?
There are so many things that have become normalized that don’t make sense to me. As much as I try to wrap my head around them, they still don't make sense to me.

For this post, I’ll be talking about one among the many that annoy me.
Normalizing Shame:
At this point, we need to bring back shame. Wherever shame went, we need to bring it back ASAP!! Because people are losing their minds already!

In a bid to prove or disguise their need for validation, people do crazy things without feeling embarrassed. They call it confidence and self-expression.
Shame played a big part in our lives. It held us back from doing certain things, it made us embarrassed, and also made us question, our choices.
Shame was that leash that kept us in control when the urge to go wild and crazy kicked in but right now, we've lost it.

We have normalized shame to the point where only a few feel it, and the rest lack it. When you have no shame, you can go to any length without feeling remorseful or embarrassed.
The lack of shame in our society today has given people the balls to do certain things, damning their reputations, turning a deaf ear to morality, and doing any and everything to stay cool and woke. These things are done to chase clout, for stupid views, likes, and comments.

I wish shame wasn’t normalized and it still held its value and potency like before, just maybe most people will refrain from doing a lot of things.
Shame is not necessarily bad, as it helps to keep us grounded. No matter how “confident” or “expressive” we are, losing our values because of irrelevant things shouldn’t be celebrated or applauded, we should at least take a pause and reflect on our actions.
I wish we could bring back shame, the one that scares us and puts us in our place, the one that serves as a leash to tame us. I’d really love that.
What’s your take on shame being normalized and people lacking it? Do you think we need to bring back shame? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comment section.

Loads of Love🥰🥰
XOXO
And like they will say, "you can't shame the shameless," I also think shame needs to be brought back into our lives because of what is happening in our world.
That statement is so stupid and annoying, I hate it so much!! I pray it gets better though.
Thank you.
😂😂😂 this your title is so intriguing and catchy, shame isn't bad oooh because it keeps you in check so as not to misbehave, My take is that we should bring that shame back so that morality can be normalized because the rate at which youths are going now we might loose it. Thanks for this wonderful writeup
Hehehe I’m glad it caught your attention🥰
Honestly, it need to come back like ASAP!!! We are tired!
