🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 Friendships, The Easygoing Way I Choose My Circle

in HiveGhana12 days ago

When it comes to friendship, I’ve always been the easygoing type. I don’t carry a long list of criteria or try to analyze people before they come into my life. I simply let things flow. If we vibe naturally, if there’s a spark of connection or shared energy, that’s usually enough for me to open the door.

Over time, I’ve realized that being easygoing doesn’t mean being careless. It means allowing life to introduce you to people in unexpected ways. Some of the best friends I have today came into my life so randomly, a conversation that started with a joke, a group project that turned into late night talks, or a simple “hi” that grew into years of understanding.

But I’ve also learned one hard truth along the way: loyalty is everything.
I once had a friend I trusted deeply, we shared dreams, challenges, and even some personal struggles. I never imagined that loyalty could fade, but it did. Losing that bond hurt, not because of what happened, but because I realized not everyone values friendship the same way I do.

Still, I’m grateful. That experience didn’t make me bitter, it made me wiser. It helped me recognize the friends who stay when life gets quiet, those who check in without expecting anything in return, and those who cheer genuinely when things start working out for you.

So no, I don’t have strict criteria. But if you ask me what I look out for now, I’d say it’s loyalty, truth, and peace of mind. The kind of friendship that doesn’t compete or complicate, just flows naturally, like it’s meant to be.

Some friends will help shape you and challenge you to achieve your goals. Some will break you and even inflict a long term pain in you but either ways, you gotta be grateful for the experiences and keep hoping for the best

Yes indeed, thank you sir
