Although it is true enough seeing the Hive Ghana prompt What the Funniest thing you heard when onboarding people brought back memories when I tried onboarding people into hive the first question I was asked Do they pay? Would I be able to cash out instantly? As soon as I start how long would it take for me to start earning on the platform?
Truth be told those kind of questions always get me fed up. I can't help but wonders what's going on in people minds. Am I even going about this the right way? Trying to introduce them to Hive? Most of them dont care to understand how hive is truly is or how it works; they just want to know about the payments part.
It frustrating sometimes I wish they could see the bigger pictures, the community, the creativity, the opportunity to grow not just the money. I read a post today about someone I knew on the blockchain who was marked as a scammer it honestly shocked me.
You think you know people especially those who’ve been around for a while then you found out they have been scamming others. I couldn't believe it at first so I went through the comment under the post, trying to understand what truly happened I read about how people who are connected and who onboarded the scammers.
It sad to see something like this happend especially in a place like hive that's built on trust, honest and community. The thought that someone could use the opportunity of being onboarded on hive into a scam or something else entirely just feel wrong.
It also makes me wonder could the person who onboarded be blame for it too? You can never really tell what people are thinking these days that the scary part. One minute someone seems genuine the other minute they are breaking the very trust the platform stands for.
If you ask me onboarding people can be most of the craziest thing. Most people dont have the patience to build something meaningful; they want quick results and easy wins. The moment they see and advantage they grab it without thinking long-term But real growth takes long time.
Hive isn't for shortcuts it's for people willing to learn, create and build something that truly last.
