Hi guys,

It would be worth your time however that's not even the reason why I am excited today. My excitement stems from the recent publication made by our community leaders @mcsamm and @collinz on the upcoming Hive program. Yes some of us knew this was coming because we have been aiding on the grounds work within the university however for the final announcement to come out and the realization of the program dawning on us makes me pretty much excited.

Hive's Journey on KNUST Campus

Hive's first major presence on campus occurred sometime during a mini hangout where a few of us who have direct affiliation with student leaders on campus helped to set up a meeting at the Icy Cup joint hence hive was preached to the student body. This was a smaller gesture than the Hive Ghana community was in its early phases then, with our diligent leaders working had to see the community grow.

Fast forward another opportunity presented itself and the leader helped to partner with the computer science society and the university students association, whose president was then a colleague, and from there, a big event was organized at the College of science. The attendance was just amazing and Hive became a name in the mouths of many students moving forward, hive got the opportunity to be invited to other student-organized events and each opportunity was well embraced by our leaders, propagating the good name of Hive and the good works of the various Ghanaian projects.

A lot of months after this successful event Hive looks to upscale this feat to an event greater height, working on the SRC level and faculty level with student leadership as well as esteemed lecturers well versed in their respective disciplines to educate the student body on amazing opportunities that web3 presents, the amazing feats achieved through Hive, how they can engage and make great use of their talents and this is led by nonother than our leaders Mcsamm and Collins, whom rumors have it would be in physical attending.

It's been years since I saw Sam, he is my mentor from the genesis and continues to educate and motivate me to make the best of my skills for the growth of the community and the blockchain so having the chance to see him again after quite a while, would be such a pleasure and an exciting one at that. That said, I really hope the lot of you are looking forward to this program because I know I am looking forward to it and I hope you won't miss it for any apparent reason.

Conclusion

The future for the Hive blockchain is inspiring and great in Ghana, the youth are excited about it and I believe Hive would take over the various Universities one step at a time. I hope leaders will continue to have such conferences in Accra, Legon, UDS, and other big Universities in Ghana.
