For someone as active as myself, it’s shocking how I’ve been stuck in bed for the past two days. It’s not that I have nothing to do- I actually do have a lot to do. But the body and soul is just too tired to do anything and so I thought to just stay home and rest.
But then, I find myself slowly slipping into that phase.

I’ve been exhausted for a very long time and it feels like the stress from all of that has accumulated with time. Friend saw me and told me to get t a full day to sleep because I needed it. I did just that- but I feel it’s beyond that. I’ve slept the whole day, but I feel stressed out. Life isn’t as easy as we see it to be. There’s always ups and downs and we need to find ways to adjust. Everyone actually has a way they prefer to wind down which helps them a lot.
But others, they just never recover from so much stress. I just read news about a medical student from the university of Ghana committing suicide and this act has been attributed to so much stress. God knows everyone of us is stressed out, but is killing ourselves the right answer? It’s probably going to end it all but what about the effects of our actions on those who care about us.
I just got out from bed to reply to the million messages I was yet to respond to. I was actually supposed to go out with a friend of mine but I never showed up. So, I just texted to tell her I feel a little bit exhausted. As much as it’s a start, me talking about is can get me some help instead of just going to do whatever bad thing I want with my life. The point at which we have gotten to in our lives is the point where what we do and not do can make or unmake us. It’s tough because we don’t know if we are on the right track or not.

If you’re very attentive, you’d realize that everyone of us is going through it. As much as some people don’t talk about it, when you observe their pattern of activity, you’d realize they are not themselves. What we all need to know is that, at the end of the day things won’t be like that for ever. Those will get better, we will find our way out, we will do better and all what we are going through today is a thing of the last. And so, no matter how you’re feeling to what you’re thinking of doing, know that all this shall pass.
