Everyone is unique in his own way as they say. We are all different people, from different backgrounds with different perspectives. But life does its thing by bringing us all together for a common goal, be it huge or not. And through this, we get to know more about each other, grow together and be there for one another. If you know me, you’d know I’m an actually cool person. But I can also be uncool depending on what is on the table. Every situation they say has its own reaction and mood.
On a normal day, I’m a very bubbly person, especially when I’m with my friends or family. I’m a big talkative, no cap. But there’s a twist to it- if I don’t know, I’m never going to talk to you unless it’s necessary. Outside of intentional networking, I have this rule of not taking to others because I have no reason to. I’d rather mind my business than start a discussion I’d end up getting bored of half way.
Hidden behind this bubbly, audacious and confident personality of mine, there’s an extremely shy person. Only people who lay very close attention to detail would be able to pick up on my shyness. My parents are probably the only people who know about it and maybe my sibling. But outside of my family, only one person has been able to see that part of me. And funny enough, if I should tell someone I’m a shy person, they’re going to laugh it off like everyone does.
But hey, success is for the bold and fearless and so I always make sure to show up at my best. Shyness wouldn’t bring anything to me. I need to and have to be able to walk into rooms where my presence would be felt even without talking instead of being that lady that hides behind others out of shyness.
This, is a little part of me people don’t know and even when they find out, they don’t believe it.
