Life is unpredictable, and crises may come unannounced, leaving the victim devastated. It was an ugly experience for my uncle, as he encountered a fire outbreak in his apartment, which destroyed lots of his properties before the situation was rescued. Due to the uncertainties in life, he was never prepared for this, but that single experience brought a lot of life lessons for him and for my family at large.
We couldn't trace what caused the fire outbreak; however, it happened when he left to work, coming back to meet a burned house, but miraculously, only his original certificates in a transparent file were left unburnt. He couldn't believe such a miracle; I and my family were in awe to date. How on earth can the fire burn every single thing in the room except his certificate? It still looks like a mystery. Even though original certificates can be retrieved from schools one attended, it comes with a price and stress and could take longer. It's a great thing that God preserved his certificate, which gave him a better job within 3 months after the fire outbreak.
Coming across the Hive Ghana's prompt this morning brought about this memory.The prompt says:

For any unforeseen natural disaster, which I pray not to experience in my entire life, if it happens in my home, one major thing to rescue are my little kids before thinking of materials. I will first raise an alarm, scream for help, back my baby, and drag out my older sons with the help of people. I don't know how fast I can be with this, but hopefully I will have the magical strength to rescue life first.
The next item to go for is my Android phone, which is so handy to reach out to people. In an incident like a natural disaster, communication is vital. You will be emotionally drained, helpless, and sad. This is why I would need my phone to communicate with my family, friends, and loved ones. People to assist through words to calm my spirit and even assist with shelter until I stand my ground again. With my phone, I could do money transfers to get things to eat and live. With my phone, I could continue with my online activities to earn money and live a good life again. With my phone, I could be connected with someone who may change my life for the better. The list is endless, and grabbing my phone is one essential item to go for quickly in a crisis.
Finally, I always have vital documents handy in my wardrobe. I have done well to scan them and save them in Google Drive after the ugly experience of a fire outbreak with my uncle, but still, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up the file and take my mobile phone and my kids to a safe place until we find peace again.

Woh. A learned about the scanning of documents and saving them to Google drive a while ago which I actually took seriously by scanning all of my important documents and trust me even if nothing has happened just yet I feel a lot safe haha.
And about the experience you shared above where his house got into fire and Lucky nothing happened to a certificate is such a miraculous experience I must say.
I am so happy for him because I cannot just imagine what would have happened even if as you have described that one can revive their certificates from the school they attended which I didn't know but at some point I believed it was possible though hehe.
Yea..it's possible to retrieve documents from school but it's usually a long process and costs more...glad you learnt something from this post

Mobile has made our life very easy and even in case of natural calamity we can contact someone as soon as possible through mobile and save ourselves from this natural calamity.

Nobody want to encounter but because of uncertainty several time we need to face it. Saving life should be the first priority for everyone and i believe that every mother will do the same. Smartphone is a picky one and it also stays always in hand and we will get it effortlessly. Backup documents is very important and the first incident indeed mysterious.
